JUST US KIDS accepts all children without regard to sex, religion, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or disability. In the case of limited openings, priority will be given to siblings of current students and then to children of DOJ employees.
Capacity – JUK can accommodate 68 children in the full time program on weekdays. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and each family chooses the specific set of daily hours that work best for them, with a limit of 9.5 daily hours.
Schedule – JUK is closed on all Federal Holidays and the week before Labor Day. Additionally, the Center follows OPM’s operating status guidance for other, unplanned events.
Tours – We are now able to schedule virtual and in-person tours upon request. Please call or email to request a tour.
Tuition – As of September 1, 2025, tuition is as follows:
– Infants: $1280 biweekly
– Toddlers: $1210 biweekly
– Twos: $1100 biweekly
– Threes/Fours: $1000 biweekly
This rate includes lunch and snacks provided daily by Good Food Company.
Additionally, all families are charged an annual combined enrichment and fundraising fee. This helps the Center cover the cost of enrichment programming for all families, like the Wolf Trap Residency Program, as well as help with allocating funds for our Tuition Assistance program. Families of children enrolled in Toddlers, Twos, Threes, or Fours classroom are charged an additional enrichment programming fee that includes tumbling and yoga with Power Tots. The Threes and Fours classrooms participate in swimming lessons during the summer and are charged an additional flat fee for those swim classes.
In addition, monies acquired from separate fundraising efforts throughout the year are available for tuition assistance. Interested parents may request information and an application from the Center’s Director.
