Just Us Kids is so glad to have been able to welcome our families back on site in July 2020. Like many Centers, due to COVID, some of our programming has been adjusted. Our current operating hours are 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, allowing each family to choose the specific set of daily hours that work best for them, with a limit of 9.5 daily hours.

We are now able to schedule virtual and in-person tours upon request.

JUK Information and Policies

Just Us Kids is a relatively small childcare center in D.C.  JUK can accommodate 75 children in the full-time program on weekdays between 6:45 am and 6:30 pm.  Each family may choose the specific daily hours that work best for them.  JUK is closed on all federal holidays and the week before Labor Day.  The Center follows OPM’s operating status guidance for other, unplanned events such as inclement weather.

Tours are given to prospective parents by appointment each month on the second Tuesday at 2:00 pm, and the fourth Wednesday at 4:00 pm.  Please Contact Us to schedule a tour.

Tuition

As of September 1, 2017, the tuition rates are:

Infants:                          $840 bi-weekly

Toddlers:                       $755 bi-weekly

Twos:                              $720 bi-weekly

Threes:                           $640 bi-weekly

Fours:                             $630 bi-weekly

 

Children enrolled in the Twos, Threes, and Fours classrooms also incur an annual enrichment fee, charged at the beginning of the school year or upon enrollment.  This rate is $150 per school year for the 2017-18 year.  There is also a $300 swimming fee for the preschool classrooms that is charged in May, and covers 10 weeks, or approximately 30 swim lessons during the summer.

Tuition Assistance

Monies acquired from the Combined Federal Campaign and other fundraising efforts are available for tuition assistance.  Interested parents may request information and application from JUK’s Director.
